Median work undertaken on Velachery flyover

The increase in the height of the median of the overbridge connecting Velachery to Pallikaranai has been undertaken.

The median, which is currently very low, is a reason for many accidents on the stretch, especially on the overbridge, where vehicles typically rush at high speeds. The Highways department has undertaken the project at a cost of Rs. 20 lakh, according to officials in the Highways Department.
