People sore with Railways for ‘curtailing’ MRTS train services on Sundays

People visiting Velachery to see their friends or family or for personal reasons and doing so by commuting on the MRTS are sore that the Railways is not running the train services as per schedule on Sundays.

Commuters from the central and south side of the city say that often the Railways say the services are suspended because of ‘maintenance’.

Others say that if services are cancelled or curtailed the Railways must inform people in advance through the media.
