VELACHERY: Many streets in Velachery were waterlogged after the rains on Wednesday morning. The service road along Velachery-Taramani Road, Velachery bypass, and several areas including TANSI Nagar suffered from waterlogging.
The situation was only rescued by the sun, which helped the areas somewhat. Residents fear that the corporation is not adequately prepared for the upcoming monsoon season.
