Mosques offer nombu kanji for Ramadan

Mosques in Velachery offer nombu kanji, the traditional broken rice porridge, for Muslims to break their everyday roza (fast) during the month of Ramadan. The Tamil Nadu Tauheed Jama’ad at Karunambigai Colony and the Masjid E Llahi at Draupadi Amman Koil Street are involved in several social activities during the period as well.

Encroachments cleared by Corpn
