Southern Railways will operate special trains for the one-day match between India and Australia on September 17.
The trains to Velachery will depart from Chennai Beach at 10:30 p.m., 10:40 p.m., 10:49 p.m., and 11:15 p.m., for those returning home after the match.
Curiously, there are no specials scheduled for the trip to Chepauk. Commuters will have to take the train that leaves Velachery at 11:50 a.m. or the one at 12:10 p.m.
