Vijayanagar bus terminus to move to MRTS?

A proposal to shift the Vijayanagar bus terminus to the MRTS station has been put forth.

The MRTS has picked up patronage and the missing link is the bus service. Many commuters now either walk the long stretch to the bus terminus or take share autos, which adds to their cost of commute.

Commuters have requested MTC to consider using the southern side of the station for the bus terminus, reports The Hindu.

Tenders for a food plaza at the MRTS station has already been floated, the completion of which will make the terminus a more bustling place.
